Having problems contacting the A Team? Perhaps they have been captured by bad guys who have some intelligence and have incarcerated The A Team in a warehouse with no spare car parts, general scrap metal and welding equipment available. And thus canít effect an escape in a scratch built armoured vehicle, constructed in five minutes or so?
In that case donít despair, you needÖ the B Team. [cue music].
From the series introduction - 'Are you being bothered by baddies, hounded by hooligans, cheated by chisellers? Are you desperate for help? Then ask around and just maybe you will be given a certain phone number to ring - which could be a big mistake!'
The B Team operate out of Mr. Fosdick's (their manager) Freeserama shop. By day they are ordinary workers, but when a call for help comes through via the public payphone box outside the shop, they are transformed into The B Team. The B Team members:-
Iceman, team leader and a master of disguise. (His amazing disguises usually consist of a raincoat and a bushy, black beard).
Goliath, fearless strongman. (Has the ability to look menacing, but is of no use in a fight whatsoever).
Clapper Jones, a hippy and transport and communications expert.
Fang, a bloodhound dog. (Scared of cats, noises and well, anything really).
Young Knobby, a young lad who Iceman regards as too young to join the B Team. (But has more brains and commonsense than the other four team members put together)!
Read the exciting and dangerous (well, not that dangerous really) adventures of the B Team below. The episodes are from issues 1311, 1316, 1319 and 1320 respectively.
