A strip from The Victor

See The Victor 883 - 895.

Writer:- The Victor editorial team. Artist:- Not known.

Main cast:- This is an anthology series, so there are no series characters, but the same Colt.45 gun does appear in every episode.

Time period:- 19th and 20th century's.

From the introduction from the series, "This is the story of one gun, a Colt 45, and the many owners it had over the years."

A few brief facts about a Colt.45 gun.

The Colt.45 Peacemaker was designed by Colt and became the primary US military sidearm until 1892. The gun holds six bullets, in a revolving cylinder and fires one bullet at a time.

This anthology series, proves that a series can be successful even when the series character is an inanimate object. As ever, it is the storylines that hold the appeal for readers. I have no information about the series writer or artist.

The following adventures of Colt.45 are from issues 883, 885, 887, 891, 893, 895.
