These short one page adventures feature Phil doing his best to be the first to do a particular event. The villain of the piece is Slimy Sid who tries to knobble (sabotage) our hero and thus be first himself. The stories are not printed consecutively, which suggests that the stories were used when there was a spare page to be filled in the that week's comic.
