See The Victor issues 626 - 642.

Writer:- The Victor editorial team. Artist:- Ted Kearon (or maybe an artist drawing in his style).

Main cast:- Major Wolf; Will Evans, also known as Will O' The Whistle; Ira Jones.

Time period:- 1993.

A cruel far eastern race called the Kirganis invade Great Britain by releasing cylinders of sleeping gas. (The image below is from the Victor issue 641). The episodes further down the page tell some of the adventures of British resistance fighters, in particular, a group in Wales who use old steam engines to travel around in, battling against the unwanted invaders.

Remember the password used between resistance members to identify themselves - 'The Bulldog's bark is loud' and the reply - 'But it's bite is fiercer.'
